Crochet Water Bottle Holder by Teresa Caldwell

Hi!

I had some fun this week as I have found a friend who will walk with me! I quickly discovered that a water bottle holder would be very useful so I designed this one for my walks!

The beauty of this pattern is that it uses 1 skein of Lily Sugar and Cream cotton yarn!
I'll share the pattern with you here.

Enjoy!

Use 1 skein: Lily Sugar and Cream 100% cotton yarn (2 ounce skein) color shown is blue
Crochet Hook: I used a size 5.00mm but you could use a smaller hook if you like a more snug fit.

Begin: Chain 2, slip stitch to the first chain stitch made.
Round 1: Chain 1, then make 6 sc in the center hole.
Round 2: ss to the beginning of the round, then put 2 sc stitches in each of the existing sc.
Round 3: Chain1, then 2 sc in next stitch followed by 1 sc in the next sc. Repeat this step 6 times. ss to beginning of round.
Round 4: chain 1 then 2
sc in next stitch followed by 2 sc in the next sc. Repeat this step 6 times. ss to beginning of round.
Round 5: chain 1 then 2 sc in next stitch followed by 3 sc in the next sc. Repeat this step 6 times. ss to beginning of round.
Round 6: chain 1 then
2 sc in next stitch followed by 4 sc in the next sc. Repeat this step 6 times. ss to beginning of round.
Round 7-8: Chain 3 then hdc in each stitch around, join with a ss at end of round.

Round 9: chain 1 then sc in each stitch around, join with a ss at end of round.

Round 10: chain 4, skip 1, *(dc, chain 1, sk 1) repeat from * around and join with a ss at end of round.

Round 11: chain 2, hdc in the ch-sp *(2 hdc in each chain space) repeat from * and join with a ss at end of round.

Round 12: repeat round 10

Round 13: repeat round 11

Round 14: repeat round 10

Round 15: repeat round 11

Round 16: repeat round 10

Round 17: repeat round 11

Round 18: sc in each stitch around. ss to beginning of round

Begin strap: DO NOT CUT YOUR YARN
Row 1: using same yarn, chain 1, then sc in next 5 stitches

Row 2: chain 1, then sc in next 5 stitches
Repeat Rows 1 and 2 until you reach desired length.

To Finish:

Lay strap flat, lay bottle holder flat.
Find opposite side of bottle holder from where the original strap emerges from.

Choose those 5 sc's opposite of the strap on other side of water bottle holder

Finish by SS strap by pulling through both the bottommost sc of strap and topmost sc of water bottle holder. Insert hook through each and pull up a ss.

Repeat 4 more times.

Finish with a knot and hide the ends!

Eyelet Home Decor baskets, set of 3 (crochet)

Hello!

I made these up for my mom's new house. I think they'll be a nice little something either for the bath, office, or wherever!

I used Red Heart Super Saver yarn. I chose this yarn because it has some stiffness and a little fuzz look to it, no need to felt. I also used a 4.00 mm crochet hook.

Use a stitch marker so that you'll mark the end of your first round and for each round thereafter!

To make the small bowl:

Chain 2 then make 6 sc in the first chain made.
Then put 2 sc stitches in each of the existing sc.
Then we make the standard circles......
2 sc in next stitch followed by 1 sc in the next sc. Repeat this step 6 times
2
sc in next stitch followed by 2 sc in the next sc. Repeat this step 6 times
2 sc in next stitch followed by 3 sc in the next sc. Repeat this step 6 times
2 sc in next stitch followed by 4 sc in the next sc. Repeat this step 6 times
2 sc in next stitch followed by 5 sc in the next sc. Repeat this step 6 times
2 sc in next stitch followed by 6 sc in the next sc. Repeat this step 6 times
for the medium size basket:
2 sc in next stitch followed by 7 sc in the next sc. Repeat this step 6 times
2 sc in next stitch followed by 8 sc in the next sc. Repeat this step 6 times
for the large basket:
2 sc in next stitch followed by 9 sc in the next sc. Repeat this step 6 times
2 sc in next stitch followed by 10 sc in the next sc. Repeat this step 6 times
2 sc in next stitch followed by 11 sc in the next sc. Repeat this step 6 times
Next:
sc in each sc to a height that meets the 2nd knuckle of your index finger (about 2 inches high)
ss to join round.
Create Eyelets:
(note: continue with same yarn for the eyelets and top edge or change color here for a 2 tone)
Chain 4, skip one sc then dc in next stitch. then dc, ch, skip 1 for the remainder of the circle, join with a ss
To end:
dc then sc in each chain 1 space around. Join with a ss to finish!
